|1. 2 or 4 Output valve switch||The 2 Output Tubes/4 Output Tubes switch removes two of the EL84 output valves, when in the 2 OUTPUT TUBES position. This switch also takes care of the speaker impedance (in the background), when in the 2 OUTPUT TUBES position. This means that the speaker impedance is always as stated in the screen print, above each speaker output jack socket, regardless of the position of this switch|
|2. Speaker Outputs||Refer to ‘Before Using Your Amplifier’. Make sure the correct speaker load and power handling is connected!|
|3. Footswitch||Connect a latching footswitch (e.g. Orange FS-1) to remotely select between Clean and Dirty channels.|
|4. FX Loop||The effects loop, send and return jack sockets are intended for use with outboard pedals or rack|
equipment such as delay, reverb and chorus etc. Effects such as wah wah, fuzz, distortion etc, would probably be best placed between the guitar and amplifier input! The effects loop is wired in series with the pre-amp signal and is completely valve driven!
|5. HT Fuse||The high tension fuse, protects transformers and other circuitry from blowing in the event of an output valve shorting. Please refer to the Technical Specification section for fuse ratings. Please contact a qualified service technician if this fuse fails!|
|6. AC Mains Inlet||Connect the supplied IEC/mains cord to the mains input and connect the plug to your AC mains supply. Refer to ‘Before Using Your Amplifier’.|
|7. Mains Fuse||The mains fuse is located in the tray directly below the AC Mains Inlet. If the mains fuse blows, replace only with the exact rating for your region. Use only the correct fuse type. If the mains fuse repeatedly blows, contact your Orange dealer.
|8. Voltage Selector||This is factory-set for the region in which the amplifier is intended to be sold. Do not tamper with this switch. Refer to ‘Before Using Your Amplifier’.|
